Banana Fish Doujinshi

Banana Fish is a manga by Yoshida Akimi, which ran from 1984-94 or so. It's about a young Japanese photographer who meets a NY gangster, and gets involved in his life. It's excellent, but many modern fans are turned off by the very 1980's art style. It's not bishounen enough for them, I guess. Go read it.
